VICRYL RAPIDE surgical suture W9933

Vicryl RAPIDE (Polyglactin 910) Coated surgical suture: synthetic, absorbable, braided.

Polyglactin 910 (polymer of glycolic acid and lactic acid, combined in the ratio 9:1) coated with a mixture of Polyglactin 370 and calcium stearate (in the ratio 1:1). Does not require removal.

Recommended for suturing the skin, mucosa and subcutaneous tissue and in particular for suturing the perineum of post-epiziotomy, hairy skin, and plaster sub-dressings. 

Recommended especially for patients who may have problems returning to the outpatient clinic or hospital to remove the stitches. 

Effective tissue support period from 10 to 14 days.

Absorption period up to 42 days.
